4. Payments

All payments made for completed work, development time, third-party services, domains, hosting, or other services may be subject to the terms agreed upon for the specific project.

5. Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the type of service and the amount of work already completed.

Website development and custom software projects involve time, resources, and professional services. Once development work has started, payments for completed work may not be refundable.

Hosting, domain registration, third-party software, plugins, themes, subscriptions, and other external services may also be non-refundable, depending on the policies of the respective provider.

Any refund arrangement will be considered based on the specific project agreement and applicable circumstances.

6. Project Timeline

We aim to complete projects within the estimated timeline provided to the client.

However, project timelines may be affected by:

  • Delayed client feedback or approval

  • Delayed submission of content or materials

  • Changes in project requirements

  • Technical issues or unexpected circumstances

Misao Web Solutions will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays where possible.

7. Website Content

Clients are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and ownership of the content provided for their website or application.

This includes:

  • Documents and downloadable materials

8. Hosting Services

Where hosting services are provided by Misao Web Solutions, we will make reasonable efforts to maintain reliable hosting services.

However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free hosting at all times. Websites may occasionally experience downtime due to:

11. Domain Names and Third-Party Accounts

Where domain names, hosting accounts, payment accounts, or other third-party accounts are registered for a client, ownership and access arrangements should be agreed upon during the project.

Clients are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and renewing services where applicable.

Misao Web Solutions is not responsible for the loss of a domain, account, or service resulting from expired payments, incorrect account information, or actions taken by the client or third-party provider.

12. Intellectual Property and Ownership

Upon completion of the project and payment of all agreed fees, the client may receive ownership or usage rights to the final website or application as agreed for the specific project.

Misao Web Solutions may retain ownership of:

  • Development tools and internal systems

  • Reusable code and components

  • Frameworks and libraries

  • Templates and development methods

  • Pre-existing intellectual property

Third-party software, plugins, themes, fonts, images, and other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licenses.

13. Portfolio and Promotional Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Misao Web Solutions may display completed projects, project screenshots, website links, logos, or general descriptions of work in our portfolio, website, social media, or promotional materials.

Clients may request that certain confidential information not be publicly displayed.

14. Confidentiality

We will make reasonable efforts to protect confidential information provided by clients for the purpose of delivering our services.

However, confidentiality obligations may not apply to information that:

  • Is independently developed

While we may take reasonable steps to maintain backups where included in a service plan, Misao Web Solutions cannot guarantee the recovery of all data in every circumstance.

17. Suspension or Termination of Services

We may suspend or terminate services when necessary, including in cases of:

  • Illegal activity

  • Abuse or misuse of services

  • Security risks

Clients may also request cancellation of services subject to any applicable notice periods, outstanding payments, or service agreements.

18. Limitation of Liability
